Moon Phases Nonfictional Text and Craft Project

(1)
Learn about the moon using the informational text. Make the phases of the moon craft activity to illustrate what you've read about the moon. Perfect for first and second grade. One of my personal favorite science projects, this would make a great addition to a science interactive notebook. After studying about the phases of the moon, the students can make this moon clock to show the different phases of the moon and the order in which they occur. The circular clock also reinforces the idea of cycles in nature. This download includes: *A nine-page booklet that teaches about the moon phases and some basic moon information *Directions *Pieces to make the clock *A finished sample You need to supply brads and paper plates.
